As we begin the new school year, we want to remind families about an important guideline when students visit our local public libraries.
Our public libraries are wonderful community resources that provide students and families with opportunities to read, learn, explore, and spend time together. We are grateful for the many ways they support our students throughout the year.
To help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone, please remember that children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible caregiver who is at least 16 years old while visiting the library.
We encourage our families to continue taking advantage of all that our local libraries have to offer and appreciate your partnership in helping keep our students safe, especially when making plans for after school.
